Truby King Park

Redbrick pillars, stairs, forest spaces to run through, fairy houses, trees to hide behind (peek a boo or hide & seek), railings (for kids to hang on, peep around etc.), arches (as a potential back drop), flowers & gardens make this location such a magical spot.

Mount Victoria

  •  Mount Victoria provides stunning 360 degree views of Wellington City, the harbour and the ocean to the south.

  • There are some really great little spots for the kids to play & interact with nature around & on Mount Victoria Walkway. There is also a lot of natural light filtering in & lots of open spaces for the kids to explore & paths to run down.

  •  Lots of beautiful old trees for the kids to play hide & seek/peek a boo behind which make great candid photo opportunities

  • There is also a little spot with a bench overlooking Wellington & a big open space for the kids to run around & chase ‘bubbles’ which I will bring to the shoot!

  • You can walk up to the Mount Victoria lookout to have a photo taken overlooking Wellington or the kids can play on the Matairangi Nature Trail which includes a slide, an obstacle course & a treehouse.
